The Good Life | Time | 06-08
"Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend." ~ Theophrastus
That said, it would do us well to make sure we make the most of it. All of us have twenty-four hours every day. The question is, what is the best use of this valuable commodity? Listen today and be encouraged that we can make every minute count!
The Good Life | Treasure | 06-01
God is a giver. It is what He does, and continues to do. We must all admit that we are blessed beyond what we deserve. So, if everything we have has been given to us by God, what should we do with it? Living the "good life" has everything to do with being good stewards of what He has given, with an eye toward others. Today, we will look at our money and possessions and make sense of why we were given what we have.
The Good Life | Toil | 05-25
Living a life of generosity includes serving others through the use of our talents, toil, treasure and time. Last week we considered how when we use our spiritual gifts and talents, we are actually worshipping God. Today we'll see that our work (toil) also matters to God. Similar to using our talents, when we work, we are worshipping God!
The Good Life | Talent | 05-18
Christ-followers love God because God first loved us. Similarly, Christ-followers live a life of love and generosity toward others because God has given us everything we need in Jesus Christ. Beginning this morning, we'll start a 4-part message series called, The Good Life. The key question for all of us to consider is how does God want to use my talents, my toil, my treasures and my time? Let's look at our talents this morning.
Mothers Day | Soul Order | 05-11
The heart of a mother is the heart of every woman - compassionate, caring, nurturing, influential, strong and beautiful. Because women care so deeply, their hearts sometimes break for those that they love. What should a mother trust in during those seasons of hearbreak, as well as all seasons? The Scriptures say to moms, and all women, to put your greatest hope in God alone.
Feed My Sheep | 05-04
Jesus' last words before He ascended into heaven carried a certain weight to them because they tell us something of our purpose. His specific challenge to Peter changed his life, and literally changed the world. Now, some 2,000 years later, that same challenge will change our lives…if we let it. This challenge even has the promise to change the world around us. We encourage you to hear His challenge and "feed His sheep."
